Explosions
Although it is often the larger and more dramatic effects which are remembered, as much detail and planning goes into small scale effects, often where actors are in close proximity. Quicksilver hold all the necessary licences to acquire, store and transport explosives and are members of the CBI Explosive Industry Group. Cars, Buildings and windows are all frequent effects; more unusual jobs have included blowing holes in carrots! – which requires very a precise choice of charges.
Pyrotechnics
Pyrotechnics generally involve the use of non-detonating explosives for a wide range of applications from pretty fountains on stage to gory bullet hit/gunshot effects.
