Quicksilver SFX - Who we are...

Formed in 1994 following the management buy-out of the special effects division of another Manchester based  entertainment/media company, Quicksilver are located in Denton, on the east side of the city, close to the motorway network.

Saftey Regs

Much of the work we do involves the use of pyrotechnics, explosives and other hazardous materials. Quicksilver are members of the CBI Explosive Industry Group and hold all the necessary licences to acquire, store transport and use pyrotechnics, explosives and other dangerous goods.

We currently carry out training, consultancy and storage/disposal of pyrotechnics, fireworks & explosives for a number of UK Police forces and Fire Services, including input on courses at the National Fire Service College (Moreton in Marsh).
