Quicksilver are based in Manchester at the heart of the North West’s TV and film industry Quicksilver have been creating stunning effects safely for nearly 15 years on a wide range of productions, including Life on Mars, Cutting It, Coronation Street, The Royal, Shameless, Hollyoaks, Apparitions, special effects credits page.

However, we can show you some of what we have done, including the more common effects such as wind, rain, snow, fires, smoke & explosions.
On a more unusual note, we have fired chocolate eggs from the arse of a pantomime goose; liquidised goldfish (no real fish were harmed of course), created exploding sewer pipes and a fake canal lock complete with thousands of litres of safe, green slimy water.
At Quicksilver we deliver safe and reliable effects, on time and on budget.
In our special effects workshop and stores we maintain a large stock of equipment and consumables, allowing us to deliver many effects at very short notice – we have provided effects ranging from bullet hits to fireworks with less than three hours from phone call to being available on location.
