Virgin Trains - 21-May-2009

The New Virgin Trains ad is now being aired. We worked on the ad a few weeks ago over two days.

The 1st effect was the large bonfire seen in the background during Becky’s ad. As she looks out the window there are a few “hunky” guys working in a field with a large bonfire burning away to the right. Usual stuff really, Gas fed bonfire that can be ignited and extinguished within seconds. Check out the pics in the fire section of our gallery for a close up of the fire.

Our second effect was supplying wind with our petrol engine trailer mounted wind machine. I don’t think the footage we shot has been used, unless they bring out a third ad. However, the day didn’t go to waste, the Director of Photography (DOP) wanted to use our Pick Up as a tracker vehicle. Check out the pics in the mechanical section of our gallary.
